Shillong, Jan 28: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will meet Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in Guwahati on Saturday evening to finalise the border deal before their meeting with the union home minister at a later stage.
Speaking to reporters after the cabinet meeting on Friday, Sangma said the cabinet was apprised about the status of the border deal.

The chief minister hoped that Assam and Meghalaya will be able to come to a conclusion on the border issue in at least six areas of differences after the Saturday’s meeting.
