Shillong, June 24: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Health Minister AL Hek gave confusing statements regarding the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Shillong in July.
Hek told reporters that the union home minister is scheduled to visit the state next month.

“Amit Shah is coming to Shillong in the second week of July. This was informed by the Chief Minister to the ministers,” Hek said.
To a query, Hek said the issues and agenda to be raised during the visit of the union home minister will be discussed by the government.
However, when asked, the chief minister told media persons that the visit is yet to be confirmed.
