Shillong, Aug 25: A police official was injured on Wednesday while trying to prevent a clash between members of HYC and the Karbi Students’ Association (KSA) at Umlaper in Assam-Meghalaya border.
According to the police, the HYC members went to Umlaper to enquire about the youths assaulted by the Assam police.

However, after the Karbi students prevented them, a clash erupted.
