Shillong, May 31: Governor Satya Pal Malik tested negative after undergoing RTPCR test in New Delhi on Sunday.
“We are happy to inform that his test results are negative and he is fine and in good health”, a statement issued from Raj Bhavan said.

The governor has been in New Delhi since May 26 and there were some worries in Raj Bhavan as many staff in service of the governor tested positive. However, with the governor reporting negative in RTPCR test, the Raj Bhavan officers and staff heaved a sigh of relief, the statement said.
The governor wished speedy recovery to all the 43 Covid-19 positive staff and family members.
