Shillong, Sep 15: The House on Friday disallowed the demand of the two VPP MLAs Ardent Basaiawmoit and Adelbert Nongrum to allot more days for the Autumn session of the Assembly which started on Friday.
Nongrum pointed out many important issues to be raised and lack of time given to discuss them.

According to Basaiawmoit, though more questions were given, the listed questions for the session are very few. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prestone Tynsong said though the session was fixed for five days, the government can extend the hours for two to three hours.
