Shillong, Sept 16: Chief Minister Conrad Sangma said that there are no disputes in 30 per cent of border areas.
In reply to a special motion moved by the opposition regarding the need to resolve the border dispute, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma informed the Assembly on Thursday that in 30 per cent of border areas , there are no disputes and hence it will be easy to address these areas.

He said the issue is complicated and hence a step by step solution is needed.
“We will be able to move forward in most of the disputed areas”, he added.
