Shillong, Dec 3: Registration began for Olympiad initiated by India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The national meteorological olympiad on weather and climate science is for class 8, 9 and 11 students.

India Meteorological Department said the registration started from December 1 and the state level test will be on December 14 & 15.
This is also part of commemorating 150 years of service to the nation.
This olympiad will serve as a platform to educate and engage participants in critical issues related to meteorology, climate
variability, and environmental sustainability.
