Shillong, Mar 8: The Meghalaya Linguistic Minority Development Forum paid tribute at the statue of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore on the occasion of Basanta Utsav on Wednesday.
The members assembled at Brookside in Rilbong to celebrate the day. During his visit to Shillong in 1919, Tagore stayed in the bungalow by the Umshyrpi stream.

The programme was organised by Malabika Bisharad on behalf of the Tagore admirers with the permission of the Director of Arts and Culture.
