Home Minister L Rymbui was chief guest in the presence of Commissioner & Secretary Arts & Culture, FR Kharkongor, Director, DIPR, M War Nongbri, representatives of Arts& Culture department , sports department , SDO( Civil ) Amlarem & village authorities.

Key highlights were boat tableau , swimming, water polo, boating competitions & traditional cultural programmes.
The event was as part of Meghalaya @50 & India @ 75 celebrations.
