Shillong, Nov 30: Trinamool Congress MLA Charles Pyngrope has said he will wait and watch before taking any decision to rejoin the Congress.
Charles said on Saturday that if he leaves the AITC., he may face disqualification as MLA and a decision may come only at the end of the present Assembly.
The lone TMC MLA from Khasi Hills is also the state president of the party in the state.
On Friday, the lone Congress MLA Ronnie Lyngdoh said since the Nongthymmai Trinamool unit was dissolved, it is an indication that Charles will rejoin the Congress.
However, Charles said he will have to consult the supporters before taking any decision.
On Friday, over 500 supporters of NPP, VPP and UDP joined the Congress in presence of Congress leaders Ronnie Lyngdoh, PN Syiem and Deborah Marak.
