“After a proper deliberation we will take a collective decision on the matter”, he said.

Pala said the order was given to one of the lawyers and he is studying the matter but no decison was taken.

The MPCC president added that he will meet senior lawyers and discuss on appealing it in the higher courts.

“As of now, no decision has been taken  whether the party should stop pursuing the matter or go forward”, he said

Soon after the merger verdict of the Speaker, the CLP leader  Ampareen Lyngdoh had said she would not pursue the matter as her focus will be on the Congress party’s campaign in 2022. “The party however may have a different view on the matter. On this our president will decide and we await his decision on the matter”, Ampareen had said.
