Shillong, Jan 30: The NPP candidate from Ranikor, MM Danggo said the decision to change from NPP to BJP will be taken by his supporters.
“I have nothing to say about the shift, let my supporters decide on the matter”, Danggo said on Monday when asked about his plan to join the BJP.

Danggo had won on a Congress ticket in 2018 but resigned and contested from the NPP on the assurance of a civil sub-division for Ranikor.
Though he was instrumental in the formation of a civil sub-division, Danggo could not win the bypoll and lost to UDP’s Pius Marwein.
After the defeat, he distanced himself from political activities till he rejoined the NPP last year.
