Shillong, May 20: The North Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Mitali Chandra has sought a report regarding allegation against GHADC CEM Albinush Marak for not stopping illegal mining of coal and transportation in Garo Hills.
In the letter addressed to the police, besides mining and forest officers, the DC had referred to the complaint of under secretary to mining and geology department on illegal mining and transportation of coal.

The deputy commissioner wanted the report to be ready by May 26.
