Shillong, Nov 23: Mother’s School, Shillong celebrated Blue Day recently with children.
It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.
The significance of the blue day was reiterated through a series of activities.
The dress code of the day was blue.
Children came dressing up in different shades and hues of blue.
As the children were introduced to different shades of blue, the event also celebrated the colour of loyalty, strength, wisdom and trust which had a positive impact in teaching harmony and brotherhood
Principal of the School Farida Khan said, “Blue day is an amazing learning experience with long lasting effect on each student.
Early identification of colours helped to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words, which is an important part of child’s development”.
Mother’s School has been celebrating multiple religious festivals, the expression of gratitude to the creator.
This, in turn, helps children learn the value of good virtues and analyse why they are essential, she said.
