Shillong, Nov 30: Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong said on Wednesday that the National Investigation Agency’s (NIA) court summon to HNLC leaders will not affect the peace talks.
“Once we sit down for the next meeting, these issues will be resolved”, Tynsong said.

He also ruled the court case impacting the peace talks and added that the government is sincere in carrying forward the talks.
On November 30, the special judge (NIA), Shillong issued notices to HNLC leaders Bobby Marwein, Marius Rynjah and Sainkupar Nongtraw in connection with the IED blast in 2020 in East Jaintia Hills.
They have been asked to appear before the NIA court on January 4 next year.
